Lockdown begins in March 2020. For me I start a lockdown as a doctor, mother, daughter. On March 7, I isolated myself from my family because I had come into contact with a positive. High risk contact. So in order not to bring the covid to my children and the rest of the family, I locked myself up in my mother's house in the city, inside the walls, in Lucca, which at that time was uninhabited. Then after a few days, I went back to work. You went to work with fear. This has never happened to me before. Before, you might have been afraid of making a mistake, of not arriving at the right diagnosis. Now you were afraid of getting infected and bringing the infection into the family. Repeat the gestures of dressing down to the smallest detail. You disinfected everything. But the masks were missing. Then you asked your acquaintances: the pharmacist, if he could get you some ffp2 masks; to the coachbuilder, who previously used them to dare to paint the cars; to be able to go to work. The streets were deserted, the windows open to let in some spring. The Italian flags attached to wave and the sheets with the words "Everything will be fine". I only went out to go to work, with self-certification. The checkpoints when they stopped me wished me "Good work, doctor". Going to the grocery store once a week felt like a vacation. I also did the shopping for my mother and I left it for her at the door of the house. After a month the children also returned. And then I begin the DAD, the tasks to be sent in the afternoon, from the return from the hospital to the teachers. Homemade desserts and time spent playing together. Then finally May came and the lockdown ended and we went back out. We went back to walking on the walls of Lucca.
